If the events of September 11th 2001 changed everybody's life forever, somebody forgot to tell Nigel. With his Xbox, his TV and his spliff, Nigel's life seems as sweet as ever it was. All this is about to change. The People Next Door is what happens when someone else's global problem becomes your local one. This play was a phenomenal success at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, transferring to London and then a national tour.

Frank is an ordinary bloke who likes smoking, history and playing Dictator top trumps. He can put up with his job in a cinema kiosk until a new supervisor arrives who is younger than him. And Asian. Alaska had its world premiere at the Royal Court Theatre in 2007, but we staged the latest draft – a world first again!
